Steve Billcheck – Fish Window Cleaning

Steve Billcheck has a variety of customer service experience over his 30 years in the information technology and restaurant industries. After completing a Bachelor’s of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia, he relocated from the east coast to the mid-west to start a career with EDS and remained with the firm through its merger with HP in differing roles as system analyst, account management, and project management. After completing his MBA at the University of Michigan, Steve relocated to Southern California and continued his career with EDS as a program manager in network engineering, eventually moving through several sales & marketing positions. As part of downsizing efforts at HP/EDS, Steve ended his tenure there after 20 years and looked forward to a new career. He landed at the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, CA where he completed an Associates in Culinary Arts. He remained in the Bay Area working as a server, line cook, sous chef, and manager at several different establishments. Based on his level of experience in culinary and hospitality, Steve moved into a role of co-executive chef and co-managing partner of an established catering company in Napa, CA. For three years, he helped to lead the catering company to double revenues, increase profits, and diversify the customer base. With the disruption of the COVID pandemic, he made the decision to relocate from California and to find a different industry to make the best use of his business and customer service skills. Understanding the freedom that a small business can provide, Steve researched a few different franchise business models and decided to open a Fish Window Cleaning franchise in Glendale, AZ.
