Chris Hickman served as a police officer with the Great Falls, Montana Police Department for 31 years. He was a patrol officer, fugitive apprehension investigator, Community Policing supervisor, undercover narcotics investigator and drug task force Commander. After retiring from the police department, Chris went to work for the state of Montana as a Child Protection Specialist with the Montana Department of Health and Human Services and after that he became a Correctional Treatment Specialist with the Great Falls Pre-Release Center working with individuals transitioning into the community from the Department of Corrections.

Chris started Lone Rock Investigations, LLC in 2017 while still residing in Montana. He moved to Scottsdale in early 2022 and is licensed as a private investigator in Arizona as well.

Lone Rock Investigations provides a variety of services to include criminal defense investigations and consultation, background checks, skip tracing, surveillance, domestic (infidelity and child custody) investigations, missing persons, asset identification and electronic “bug” sweeping.

Chris has nearly 40 years of training and experience in all aspects of law enforcement and private investigations. He is the sole owner and proprietor of Lone Rock Investigations and he conducts all investigations for the company.

Chris was awarded the Montana Narcotics Officer of the Year Award for 2013. This was an award for which he was nominated and voted on by his peers throughout the state and it was the award he is most proud of.

Lone Rock Investigations provides free consultations and also offers free background checks for realtors to help ensure their safety.

Chris is married to Andrea and they have two adult children. Chris enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing and traveling.
